Darcy Sarr is an artist who works in many mediums including drawing and crocheting. Watching horror and science fiction movies with her family growing up and exploring the rapidly evolving world of video games has greatly influenced her artistic style. The purpose of her art is to capture whimsical ideas that are meant to bring joy, curiosity, or even disgust to viewers of her art. Themes such as friendship, aging, death and love can be seen throughout her pieces. She wants her art to invoke curiosity and inspire other people to explore what they can create. Art is used to process emotions, interpret the world we are living in, and express ourselves creatively, which is a significant part of being human and why Darcy strives to encourage artmaking in others through pursuing a career in art. She received her bachelors of Art from Eastern Washington University in 2025.
